Series isolation transformers are able to be direct buried. A better method is to use mounting pits. Mounting pits serve as botha suitable mounting for the light fixture and a housing for the series isolation transformer. The removable pit lid is pre-drilled to accomodate the light fixture. The light mounts via three compression gaskets and is levelled by varying the compression applied to the mounting screws.
