RTIL / REIL

The primary application of a RTIL / REIL system is to positively identify the threshold of a runway.

Each RTIL/REIL unit consists of a flash head and a control box, co-mounted on the same set of support legs.

The RTIL/REIL system consists of two unidirectional, synchronised flashing lights. One flasher unit is located at each side of the runway threshold.
