LAHSO

To enhance the safety of land and hold short operations a LAHSO (land and hold short) system is required under certain circumstances.

RGL

The RGL (runway guard light) is used to enhance the visibility of taxiway holding positions. Two RGL lights are installed at each hold point. Each fixture alternately flashes its two lamps.
