CAA Approved Illuminated Wind Direction Indicator (IWDI)

The arrangement consists as follows -:

  • 8m mid-hinged pole.
  • 4x outreach arms each with 2 qty adjustable flood lights with 240 Volt lamps (8 lights in total).
  • white windsock (0.9 mtr opening & 3.65 mtrs long).
  • rag bolts for mounting.

Small Hoop Frames & Windsocks

Swivel hoop frames are available in 18 inch, 24 inch & 36 inch diameter with white & yellow windsocks to suit. These sizes are intended for non airfield applications.

Windsocks

Replacement windsocks to suit IWDI (0.9 mtr opening & 3.65 mtrs long) are available in white or yellow. On an airfield White indicates the 'primary' windsock and yellow the 'secondary' windsock.

Replacement 18 inch, 24 inch & 36 inch white & yellow windsocks.
